Ahead of the release in March of Captain Marvel, visitors at Disney's California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California, will have the opportunity to meet with the hero person.
The Disney theme parks' blog has announced that a cast member portraying Captain Marvel will appear for a limited time in California Adventure, beginning in early 2019, to interact with fans and help promote the upcoming film.
Carol Danvers joins Black Panther, Captain America, Spider-Man and the Dora Milaje as the Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes seen in the park. It is unknown when Captain Marvel will make her Disney California Adventure debut, and when her appearances are scheduled to end, although it may continue as late as the release of next year's Avengers 4.
Either way, soon fans will be able to have their picture taken with the latest MCU superhero as long as they visit California Adventure sometime early next year.
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Mar-Vell, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace, and Annette Bening. The film arrives March 8, 2019.
