Captain Marvel Character Posters Don't Forget Goose

Opening in theaters everywhere in less than two months, Captain Marvel has released a full set of individual character posters for the film spotlighting the Marvel Cinematic Universe epic's cast of heroes and villain.

From the eponymous MCU superhero to younger incarnations of Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, all of the upcoming film's major characters get their own poster...including Carol Danvers' pet cat Goose.

It has been rumored that the feline may be of extraterrestrial origin like the comic book source material, with actor Lashana Lynch confirming that Goose is "not fully a cat."

What Goose's larger role in the upcoming film is has yet to be seen but the adorable companion is certainly more than meets the eye.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Algenis Perez Soto as Att-Lass, McKenna Grace as a young Carol Danvers and Annette Bening in an undisclosed role. The film arrives on March 8.
