Fans attending the Marvel Studios panel at the 2018 Comic Con Experience in Brazil have gotten an exclusive look at Captain Marvel, with new footage showcasing her dynamic with Jude Law's Yon-Rogg, and as expected, the villains known as the Skrulls.

According to MCU Exchange, the audience was privy to an extended clip of a scene from the latest trailer where Brie Larson's Carol Danvers is seen hanging upside down with her mind being probed by the Skrulls' leader Talos (Ben Mendelsohn). The description reveals that as the villain reads Carol’s mind, he admits they “having everything they need,” hinting she holds some key secrets that the Skrulls are after.

The footage continues with Carol breaking free from the probing device, but unable to use her full array of powers thanks to some sort of inhibitor. This leads to a beatdown of the Skrulls experimenting on her and Carol's eventual escape in a pod. The clip then focuses on new footage with Annette Benning's mysterious character describing Carol as being “reborn in Hala,” aka the Kree homeworld, along with Law's Space Force commander training Carol for battle and how to control her cosmic powers.

Finally, fans got an in-depth look at the Skrull's shapeshifting abilities, which is said to be a smoother take on Mystique's abilities from the X-Men movies, leaving everyone even more hyped for her movie to debut next March.
