A number of established Marvel Cinematic Universe stars have offered their thoughts on the first official trailer for Ms. Marvel, Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ original series starring Iman Vellani as main protagonist Kamala Khan.First and foremost, the trailer has received a stamp of approval from Captain Marvel star Brie Larson, who -- alongside WandaVision's Teyonah Parris -- is set to appear opposite Vellani in the upcoming film The Marvels, which serves as both a sequel to Captain Marvel and a follow-up to Ms. Marvel. "You ARE a superhero, Kamala," Larson wrote on Twitter.RELATED: Fans Absolutely Love Ms. Marvel's First Poster - Here's the Comic Art It Homages

A few other MCU actors chimed in on the trailer as well, including WandaVision's Julian Hilliard, Eternals' Kumail Nanjiani, She-Hulk's Mark Ruffalo and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu. "So excited for this one!" Hilliard wrote. "This trailer made me feel every positive feeling I am capable of feeling. Iman Vellani is going to be amazing in this show. I CANNOT WAIT," Nanjiani added.

Ruffalo tweeted, "Marvel breaks new ground! Love you, [Marvel] for reflecting the world we live in. Welcome to the family, Kamala!" Finally, Liu wrote, "All Marvel projects are made for universal audiences, like [Ms. Marvel]. The target audience for this one feels very wide and far-reaching. If you are in it, this will work very well for you. If you aren't, it will also work very well for you."

"Ms. Marvel, launching on Disney+ in Summer 2022, is a new series that introduces Kamala Khan -- a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City," an official synopsis for the upcoming series reads. "A great student, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel. But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school -- that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she's always looked up to. Life is easier with super powers, right?"

Created by Sana Amanat, Stephen Wacker, G. Willow Wilson and Adrian Alphona, Kamala Khan first appeared in 2013's Captain Marvel#14. In the comics, Kamala is an Inhuman who has the ability to stretch (or "embiggen") parts of her body, becoming the fourth hero to take the Ms. Marvel name, succeeding Carol Danvers (the current Captain Marvel), Sharon Ventura and Karla Sofen. In the MCU, however, Kamala's powers have been reimagined as being more cosmic in nature.
