Just hours after the first look at Brie Larson as Captain Marvel surfaced online, a fan has edited the costume to bring it in line with the version Marvel Comics enthusiasts are more familiar with.

Traditionally sporting a costume made of red, blue and gold, the costume Larson was spotted wearing is actually different shades of green. Reddit user BeautifulBasket wasted no time in taking an original set photo and turning into something more familiar -- perhaps teasing a more faithful look that we'll see in the solo Captain Marvel flick. It's worth noting that the first look at Larson's character, which came in the form of concept art at Comic-Con International in San Diego last year, was in the classic colors.

It's unclear at this time whether Larson is on the set of Avengers 4 or Captain Marvel, as production on both projects will overlap. The untitled Infinity War sequel is set to feature a roster of heroes that is bursting at the seams, so Captain Marvel being involved only makes sense.

As Marvel Studios revealed in July at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Captain Marvel will be set in the 1990s, with Larson’s Carol Danvers wearing a costume very similar to the one designed by comic book artist Jamie McKelvie. The primary antagonists will be the shape-shifting alien Skrulls, marking their first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury but, given the time period, the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director won’t be wearing his signature eye patch.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a screenplay by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, DeWanda Wise and Ben Mendelsohn. The film is set to hit theaters on March 8, 2019.
