Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has shown the franchise expect bot hin the supernatural and cosmic arena. But shows like Ms. Marvel have proven that there are still many secrets left to get uncovered beyond the planet Earth. As her story continues on Disney+, it's hard not to consider her next outing in the upcoming film, The Marvels, which will see Kamala team up with Monica Rambeau and Captain Marvel. However, Kamala's place on this team may be due to the possibility of the Inhumans being the main antagonists in the film.

While there's no confirmation, a recent theory video by New Rockstars posited that Kamala's bangle granted her a power that may tie to a familial connection to the Kree. In the comics, the Kree were a race that experimented on humans and created the Inhumans. If true, this theory would also add more clearance to the Kree sleeper cell comment made by Talos, disguised by Nick Fury, in Spider-Man: Far From Home. But who's to say these sleeper cells have to be only on Earth, and why should they only be Kree?

The Marvels may introduce Captain Marvel at a loss as she's learned her allies turned enemies, the Kree, have activated their sleeper cells across the cosmos. While some may be legit Kree in hiding on other planets, Earth's sleeper cells could be Inhumans. That would force Carol to meet Kamala and Monica to help stop this potential invasion. But that still doesn't explain how it ties with the family bangle.

One possible theory could be that Kamala's bangle is the MCU's form of terrigenesis, which would give Kamala her powers. However, she could also come from a line of Kree infiltrators/sympathizers that decided to abandon that life and live their current one. But they could also be related to Inhumans on her mom's side that never chose to use the Terrigen Mists. If so, this would mean Kamala would be the only liaison between the humans and the Inhumans.

The Inhumans, led by Black Bolt, in Marvel Comics

Inhumans got designed to be the perfect soldiers for the Kree against the Skrulls. But in the MCU, that role could expand as the alien race got more comfortable with total domination. As a result, these brainwashed soldiers would be dispatched across the galaxy to soften up Empires for Kree armies to invade. Led by Black Bolt, this would mean that The Marvels' heroes would be facing one of Marvel's deadliest threats. But rather than destroy them, they'd need someone like Kamala to help break their programming and turn against their creators.

Kamala Khan's origins, whether from the comics or changed for the MCU, have always been cosmic. Plus, with The Inhumans being the next team ready to join the MCU, a change to their introduction would be a great way to surprise fans. But more than that, it would help viewers sympathize with the characters even more while giving Kamala a chance to interact with the species she's closely connected to in the comics.
