Following the reveal yesterday of the special features to be included on the Blu-ray of "Captain America: Civil War," a release date for the home video version of the film has been given: September 13.
Of course, "Civil War" will arrive on digital HD platforms as well as the Disney Movies Anywhere app a bit earlier than that; fans will be able to purchase the film digitally beginning on September 2. The Blu-ray and DVD release will happen on September 13, which is also when the film will arrive on on-demand outlets.
Since opening on May 6, "Captain America: Civil War" has grossed $404 million domestically and $1.1 billion worldwide.
The digital HD, 3D and Blu-ray releases will contain the following special features:
