Call of Duty: Warzone's Season 4 update accidentally introduced a door that instantly downs players upon approach.

A clip of the glitch was uploaded to Reddit by user Rxelik. The video shows players running into the door only to be instantly knocked down. Fans assume it was accidentally added as a part of the battle royale game's Season 4 update, which brought with it a Zombies Outbreak region, limited-time events, a new Gulag and more. The door itself is located in the Salt Mine area of the newly revamped Verdansk map. For all intents and purposes, it appears to be a standard door, leading players to believe the occurrence is a glitch. Players that fall victim to the deadly door can still be revived by teammates.

The door in question was open prior to the update, causing speculation that an error in the game caused it and another door to switch locations. Some players suggested that the bug may have something to do with the red doors that were recently added to Warzone in the last major update. These red doors serve as a fast travel system, a mechanic which has previously not been utilized in the game.

Given that the killer door is still in the game, players will want to avoid it for the time being, unless they're curious to see the bug's full effects in action. Raven Software has yet to comment on the bug and there's currently no word on a patch to fix the issue.

Developed by Raven Software and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
