EDITOR: Mania officially debuts in "Venom" #38, according to writer Cullen Bunn.

Marvel Comics' September solicitations revealed a surprising cover image for "Venom" #40 written by Cullen Bunn with art by Jorge Coelho: a new female symbiote character. According to the solicitation text, the character's name is Mania, but it's unknown whether she's a hero or villain. While her allegiances might currently be a mystery, Mania's symbiote costume has quite a bit in common with Flash Thompson's high school student and teenage neighbor, Andi -- especially considering that she's been very close to seeing Flash as Venom a few times since his tenure as gym teacher in West Philadelphia.
