‘Buffy’s’ Anthony Stewart Head Joins Freeform Murder Mystery ‘Guilt’

Anthony Stewart Head, best known for playing Giles on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” has joined the cast of Freeform’s upcoming mystery drama “Guilt.”

Created by Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard (“The Game Plan”), the soapy thriller centers on a young American woman in London who becomes the prime suspect in the savage murder of her roommate.

According to TVLine, Head’s daughter Daisy Head will star as the young woman Grace Atwood, while the “Buffy” veteran will play James Lahue, her charming stepfather who has a connection to the victim. Emily Tremaine (“Vinyl”) co-stars as Grace’s sister Natalie, who teams with lawyer Stan Gutterie (Billy Zane) to scour London in search of the truth.

Head’s credits also include “Little Britain,” “Merlin” and “Dominion.”
