It's never over: All seven seasons of the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer series can once again be streamed for free. Joss Whedon's much-loved show was removed from Netflix last year, a disappointment for fans who still enjoy the occasional rewatch, 20 years after it premiered on the WB. This time, it's on Facebook's video collection, Facebook Watch.

And that's not all -- Buffy's spin-off show Angel is also on Facebook Watch, and so is Firefly, Whedon's space opera which was canceled in 2003 after just one season (but retains a devoted cult following to this day).

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played the titular heroine in Buffy, made a video announcement on her Facebook page about the show becoming available to stream. Facebook Watch also published another video, promoting all three shows, with a wink at the trademark snappy dialogue in, like, everything Whedon writes.

Beginning today and lasting for the next three weeks, Facebook will be using its newly introduced Watch Party feature to host group viewings of Buffy. Fidji Simo, Facebook’s video lead, spoke about what makes Facebook Watch different from other streaming services, as reported by The Wrap: “Our focus with Facebook Watch is on content and experiences that help people connect, ignite conversation and build community. We think there is a range of content that can do this, and are excited to bring iconic pop culture favorites like these series for their avid fan communities to experience them in new ways, and for new fans to discover these awesome ’90s classics.”
