In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) wore a full mask that covered his face, adding to the mystery and menace surrounding him.

Marvel Studios artist Ryan Meinerding has now posted concept art for different versions of Winter Soldier's mask on Instagram, which hew fairly close to the final design. "Winter soldier mask designs from Captain America: The Winter Soldier!" Meinerding wrote in the caption. The first image showcases a mask covering the bottom half of Bucky's face, including his neck area, while his eyes are smeared with war paint. The other image features his trademark goggles, which had a cross styled strap to keep them firmly in place.
