Fans Hope Jungkook Will Sing Chainsaw Man Season 2’s Theme Song

Jungkook's cover has left fans, both those of BTS and Chainsaw Man, stunned and vibrating with excitement. This moment isn't the first time Jungkook has shown his love for anime as fans caught him and another member of BTS named V watching Haikyuu!! One fan edited a panel of Chapter 93 of the manga where Denji is watching a broadcast, so it now says: "Oh...he just like me...he just like me [FOR REAL]!!!!!" Many viewers expressed how impressed they were by the singer's vocals, with some even requesting that he sing the opening for Season 2 of Chainsaw Man whenever that receives a green light.

BTS, short for Bangtan Sonyeondan, debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment with their debut lead hip-hop single "No More Dream." It wasn't until they released "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1" in 2015 that they reached domestic and mainstream success with their lead single "I Need U" snagging the group's first music show win. Their success continued when they topped Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Global 200 charts with the group's first all-English single, "Dynamite," released in 2020. That single received a Grammy nomination, making BTS the first Korean artists to receive a nomination from the Recording Academy. Their third English single, "Butter" earned them a second Grammy nomination. With the eldest Kim Seokjin, currently serving in the army, BTS will go on hiatus, with each member pursuing solo activities.

Chainsaw Man revolves around a young 16-year-old boy named Denji who gains the ability to turn into the titular character thanks to his best friend's sacrifice. Season 1 sees Denji joining the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government agency whose goal is to defeat the devils, and living in a small apartment with Aki Hayakawa and Blood Fiend Power. Ultimately, Denji and Aki's goal is to find and defeat the Gun Devil, the former, because doing so would grant him any wish with the woman he's in love with, Makima, and the latter to avenge his family.
