Many talented comic book artists are auctioning off exclusive drawings to benefit the Book Industry Charity Foundation, which includes Bryan Hitch, who offers artwork featuring Green Lantern.

Hitch's sketch is currently available on eBay, featuring the Hal Jordan version of DC Comic hero. A description on the drawing's page reads, "This beautiful, majestic shot of Hal Jordan as GREEN LANTERN as drawn by superstar artist Bryan Hitch is a 3 day auction—with proceeds going to benefit struggling comic shops in need via the nonprofit BINC fund!"

Depicted as a member of the intergalactic policing organization called the Green Lantern Corps, Hal Jordan took the mantle of Green Lantern after being offered the infamous ring from a dying extraterrestrial. Jordan would go on to become a founding member of the Justice League and appear in multiple solo series. Jordan's Green Lantern has also made appearances in several DC video games, films and TV shows.

Bryan Hitch has been working as a professional comic book creator since the late 1980s and has had work featured in many popular series, including Adventures of SupermanMartian ManhunterThe Authority and more. In addition, Hitch has worked for multiple comic book companies including Marvel, DC, Image and Valiant.

The Book Industry Charity Foundation is currently offering a Comic Book Store Assistance Program, which is designed to help stores affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
