Action-movie icon Bruce Willis will make his Broadway debut in an adaptation of the Stephen King novel "Misery."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, he'll star opposite "House of Cards" actress Elizabeth Marvel in a play written by William Goldman, who also penned the screenplay for the 1990 film adaptation.

Willis will, of course, play romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who becomes the prisoner of his psychotic "number one fan" Annie Wilkes after she rescues him a car wreck and discovers he killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain.

Produced by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, "Misery" is planned for a limited run in the fall.
