Brooklyn Nine-Nine just won't quit. The series has been renewed for an eighth season by NBC.

According to Deadline, NBC has picked Brooklyn Nine-Nine up for Season 8 ahead of the Season 7 premiere.

The show originally debuted on Fox, but was cancelled after its fifth season. Amid protests and petitions, NBC picked up the series in May 2018, just days after it got axed. The network has been home to Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 and Season 7.

Since its move to NBC, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been doing well for itself. According to the report, the series averaged a 1.2 rating and 3.2 million viewers overall in Live+Same Day ratings last season, an increase of 15% over its last season on Fox. It is reportedly "the most popular off-network live-action comedy on Hulu," as well as "last season’s #1 most-social primetime comedy series across television, earning 9 million total interactions."

Created in 2013 by Dan Goor and Michael Schur, Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio, Terry Crews, Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller. Season 7 premieres Thursday, Feb. 6 at 8 pm ET/PT with a one-hour premiere. Starting the following week, the series will air Thursdays at 8:30 pm ET/PT.
