With less than two months until it opens in theaters everywhere, marketing has ramped up for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe epic, Captain Marvel.

The fan site MCU_News_India has posted a new image from the upcoming MCU film show a feature in Empire magazine. The image shows Brie Larson standing tall as the eponymous superhero and the tease that the film has been poised to present the character as a revolutionary figure.

The latest issue of Empire hits newsstands tomorrow and has an entire spotlight feature on the film, including a set visit while the movie was in principal photography.

With Captain Marvel teased to have a major role in the MCU after Avengers: Endgame, her grand introduction in March is sure to be an important one.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Algenis Perez Soto as Att-Lass, McKenna Grace as a young Carol Danvers and Annette Bening in an undisclosed role. The film arrives on March 8.
