The official Red Band trailer for director Ben Wheatley's "Free Fire" arrived on Friday, introducing a colorful cast of 1970s-inspired criminals. In the trailer, we first see Armie Hammer (playing Ord) as he meets with Justine (Brie Larson), Chris (Cillian Murphy), and Frank (Michael Smiley). After the introductions, Chris lights up a cigarette, urges the crew to get their destination.

The group heads to an abandoned location for an arms deal, where they meet with Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and his gang. The negotiations quickly go south, however, and things erupt into a full-fledged shootout. As the tagline warns: "When everyone has a gun, no one's in control." And if you're curious about the level of swagger Larson will bring to the screen as the superhero Captain Marvel, here's a peek.

The rest of the trailer features an exciting mix of stylized gunplay, irreverent humor and over-the-top physical comedy. Loyalties seem to shift, and injuries are played for laughs as the criminals try to figure their way out of the dire situation in which they have found themselves. The trailer ends with Larson's Justine wryly stating that "We can't all be nice girls," as she fires off a shot from her revolver.

"Free Fire," produced by Martin Scorcese, will also star Jack Reynor, Sam Riley, and Noah Taylor. The film will arrive in theaters in 2017.
