Captain Marvel star, Brie Larson, is the latest celebrity who has taken to YouTube in an effort to stay connected to fans. In Larson's first video, "So I made a decision...," the actor explained why she decided to try out the platform.

In the 21-minute clip, she stated that she had learned a lot through YouTube, "Whether it's been how to use my printer or it's been watching how to be a considerate activist, this is the place to talk about things that are important and that matter." She then used her first video to seek advice from other creators who soared to stardom after utilizing the platform, including: Lilly Singh (IISuperwomanII), Justine Ezarik (iJustine), Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown (AsapScience), Sean Evans (host of Hot Ones) and many more.

Larson then dug for content ideas from her mom, her grandma, her best friend (Jessie Ennis), her make-up artist (Nina Park), her personal trainer (Jason Walsh) and her hair stylist (Bryce Scarlett).

While it's unclear what the focus of Larson's YouTube channel will be, she made it clear that she intends to use the platform "for good." In the description of the video, Larson linked to plugs black creators to educate viewers on how to get involved/stay active in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Within hours of posting the introductory video, Larson's channel gained more than 50,000 subscribers and the video more than 30,000 views.
