Having recently joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain Marvel, Brie Larson now stands with the likes of Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. in the world of superheroes on the big screen. But according to the actress, she actually had no idea what the post-credits scene for her debut movie was.

In a clip from Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show, Larson sits down with host Jimmy Fallon, who praises Larson and brings up the success of Captain Marvel. Fallon then talks about how Larson filmed Avengers: Endgame before Captain Marvel and asks if it's true, which Larson confirms.

"We filmed this, we filmed Endgame before Captain Marvel," said Larson. "We didn't even have a script yet, really, for Captain Marvel." Larson then discusses her first day of shooting, which includes all but her one line being redacted on a page of dialogue and action. She even brings up the secrecy on the set, which included the people in hair and makeup.

As the clip continues, Larson reveals her amazement when she found out she was in a Marvel movie, and that she was unaware there was a post-credits scene in Captain Marvel. Larson says that there was no one else on set with her, as it was just her on a green screen, and brings up her confusion regarding Carol's question about Nick Fury's location in the scene, as well as the crew's answer to her question.

Larson then talks about how the post-credits scene was pulled off, and getting to see the actual scene at the Captain Marvel premiere. For the rest of the clip, Larson talks about her friendship with Samuel L. Jackson, which includes him giving Larson a lightsaber and her directing him in her film, Unicorn Store, and reveals that she kept things loose on the set. This includes having a hula hoop on set for stress, and ribbon dancers. The clip then ends with Larson and Fallon playing hula hoops and a scene featuring Captain Marvel from Endgame.
