A prolific artist, cosplayer and dedicated Legend of Zelda fan captured one of the more emotional moments from the Captured Memories quest in Breath of the Wild with detailed fanart.Li Kovács posted the work on Twitter along with screenshots of the cutscene for comparison. The scene is from the ninth photo in the long-form quest that Link embarks on throughout the game. It's one of several special locations around the vast game map of Hyrule where Link can recapture a small snippet of his past memories, which add depth and perspective to his overall mission. In this particular scene, called Slumbering Power, Princess Zelda is immersed in the waters of the Spring of Power in the Akkala region, seeking help with the power she needs to seal the evil Ganon away but cannot access. Kovács' work captures the pain and worry evident in Zelda and Link's own stoicism and resolve as her protector.Related: Breath of the Wild: New Glitch Unlocks the Master Sword Using Only a Campfire

In the cutscene, Zelda reveals that though her grandmother heard voices from the spirit realm and her mother promised that the princess would develop similar powers, she doesn't hear or feel anything. Despite her father's pressure, her own dedication to prayer and pleas to the ancient gods, Zelda cannot access the necessary power to protect and save Hyrule.

It's a deeply personal moment of weakness where Zelda questions her own worth all while Link stands by, turning to her as the memory ends and her desperation and sadness become overwhelming. It also gives both the memory-challenged version of Link and the player a deeper look into the struggles the princess must overcome, the silent witness he bore to it all and the connection between her and her champion.

Kovács is a brand ambassador for Nintendo America, partner of Pokémon and a self-professed "Zelda completionist/Hero of Hyrule." Their Twitter is full of detailed and beautiful tributes to the Legend of Zelda series. There is fanart of other Captured Memory moments from Breath of the Wild and an impressive collection of highly detailed cosplay from several games across the series such as Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess and Link to the Past.

The artist also has an impressive collection of original nature artwork and photography, especially focused on trees and leaves, which fit well with many of the nature scenes around Hyrule.
