Breaking Bad fans will have a chance to relive the series as Aaron Paul joins his castmate Bryan Cranston to cook up an upcoming Super Bowl LVII commercial for PopCorners.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Cranston's Walter White and Paul's Jesse Pinkman become partners in crime one more time to advertise the popular snack brand during the NFL's annual title game. A first look at the commercial sees Jesse sporting dirty cooking clothes and watching the desert sunset in the middle of New Mexico while eating from a PopCorners bag. He then answers a phone call as the camera highlights an empty lawn chair and the famed RV-turned-meth lab from Breaking Bad behind him. The commercial is seemingly an ode to Season 2, Episode 9 of the hit AMC show, "4 Days Out" when Walter and Jesse wander in the desert after their RV breaks down.

Paul's involvement in the PopCorners commercial comes after confirmation of Cranston's appearance in December 2022. The commercial is one of many that will feature on Super Bowl Sunday alongside a Heineken ad featuring Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor Paul Rudd and a Michelob Ultra spot that sees former Dallas Cowboys quarterback-turned-announcer Tony Romo replicate Bill Murray's role as Carl Spackler in Caddyshack. It also marks yet another Super Bowl ad for Cranston who previously starred in spots for Esurance (Super Bowl XLIX) and Mountain Dew (Super Bowl LIV).

Breaking Bad, Making Good

Breaking Bad became a cult classic following its 2008 premiere, chronicling Walter White's transformation from a humble family man and chemistry teacher to a drug lord. Walter, who also went by his alias Heisenberg, created a pure version of methamphetamine using his chemistry knowledge and teams with Jesse, a former student, to distribute it. The pair embark on many misadventures as they become embroiled in a world of cartels, money laundering and assassinations.

The critically-acclaimed crime drama series earned various accolades including several Golden Globe Awards, as well as multiple Screen Actors Guild and Critics's Choice Television Awards. Breaking Bad also featured Anna Gunn (Skyler White), Dean Norris (Hank Schrader) and Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman) and ran for five seasons before its cancellation. Many have hailed it as one of the best TV series of all time.
