With the mythical "Snyder Cut" of 2017's Justice League set to arrive on HBO Max next year, some DC Extended Universe fans have also now begun calling for David Ayer's director's cut of 2016's Suicide Squad. Renowned graphic artist BossLogic has now taken it upon himself to create multiple posters for the "Ayer Cut," featuring a modified Suicide Squad logo.Shared on BossLogic's official Twitter page were three different posters for David Ayer's Suicide Squad, featuring such familiar faces as Deadshot, the Joker, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Diablo, Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc, Rick Flag, Enchantress and Katana. The existence of Suicide Squad's director's cut has been confirmed by Ayer himself, who said his vision of the film was nearly complete, save for some missing visual effects. Ayer previously spoke about the many differences between his version of the movie and its theatrical cut, such as a romantic subplot involving Harley Quinn and Deadshot, as well as more scenes involving Jared Leto's Joker. It remains uncertain if Ayer's Suicide Squad cut will ever release, though some of the film's characters will return in director James Gunn's upcoming reboot The Suicide Squad.

The film arrives in theaters Aug. 6, 2021.
