Since the recent unveiling of a official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been speculating about one conspicuous wide shot, a moment in which it seems possible that multiple Spider-Men have been digitally edited out of the trailer -- possibly the versions played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. A new alteration by the artist BossLogic aims to "fix" this problem, suggesting that another Spider-Man was indeed present for the scene; he was just invisible.BossLogic took to Twitter to share his latest piece of fan art, which adds a new twist to the moment in the No Way Home trailer when Electro, Sandman and The Lizard all charge toward Tom Holland's Spider-Man. In the original trailer, Peter Parker leaps into the fray alone, but BossLogic's edit adds another Spider-Man in Miles Morales, whose power set includes camouflage. The artist's interpretation of the scene indicates that Miles wasn't visible in the trailer because he cloaked himself for the flight, captioning his edit, "The invisible man."

BossLogic's vision of a camouflaged attacker in the No Way Home trailer has a precedent. In addition to the wealth of empty space above and below Holland's Spider-Man, the Portuguese version of the new Spider-Man trailer prolongs the length of the shot, and The Lizard can be seen taking a blow from an invisible assailant. This has led viewers to speculate that Sony and Marvel have taken care to digitally edit something out of the scene.

While BossLogic's artwork inserted Miles Morales to "solve" the missing Spider-Man problem, as mentioned before, many viewers have guessed that the final version of this No Way Home scene will actually include Maguire and Garfield reprising their roles as their own respective versions of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. A myriad of rumors and reports have indicated that both former Spider-Men will team up with Holland for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's third Spider-Man film, a theory that a set of leaked No Way Home images recently seemed to offer credence to.

In 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, Marvel confirmed the MCU existence of Miles Morales, a Peter Parker's successor as Spider-Man in the Ultimate universe who made his comic book debut in 2011. Though the character has yet to make a live-action appearance in the MCU, Holland recently indicated that it may be time to pass forward the Spider-Man mantle, saying "Maybe it is time for me to move on. Maybe what's best for Spider-Man is that they do a Miles Morales film." Miles previously starred in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

BossLogic has shown an affinity for creating Spider-Man art in the past. His recent edits have included variant cover artwork for the PlayStation 4 game Spider-Man: Miles Morales and an unofficial poster for Marvel's What If...? series featuring Peter Parker as the Punisher. BossLogic has collaborated officially with Marvel in the past, with the artist creating posters for 2019's Avengers: Endgame.
