The following contains spoilers for Black Adam, now playing in theaters.

Artist BossLogic has imagined what Henry Cavill might look like as the DC Extended Universe version of classic Superman villain Bizarro.

The poster, shared on the artist's Twitter account, features Cavill's Bizarro sporting his comics-accurate greyish skin and reverse "S" on his suit. Created by writer Otto Binder and artist George Papp as a "mirror image" of Superman, Bizarro first appeared in 1958's Superboy #68. After proving popular with readers, the character's backstory was expanded upon to reveal that he hailed from the planet, Bizarro World, and possessed abilities similar to the Man of Steel. Despite his popularity, the character has not yet appeared in a live-action Superman film, although he has appeared in countless Superman-related television series.

Cavill first appeared as Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman in 2013's Man of Steel. Following the film's impressive box office run, Warner Bros. began developing a sequel, with Zack Snyder slated to return as director. However, Man of Steel 2 was eventually reworked into the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which introduced Ben Affleck's Batman and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and set up several future films in the DCEU and featured the death of Superman. The Man of Steel was resurrected in both 2017's Justice League and the 2021 director's cut, Zack Snyder's Justice League. The character also appeared in Shazam! (2019) and Peacemaker (2022), but was portrayed by a stand-in instead of Cavill in both cameos.

Superman Returns in Black Adam

Cavill officially returned to the DCEU as Clark Kent/Superman in Black Adam's mid-credits scene, which sees Amanda Waller send Superman to meet and speak with Black Adam. The Kryptonian's appearance in the latest DCEU film was noticeably different from past outings, with the Man of Steel sporting a new, brighter costume as well as his iconic hair curl. His arrival is also marked by John Williams' Superman theme music rather than the track composed by Hans Zimmer for Man of Steel.

Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson previously revealed that Cavill's return was made possible because of the fans who never stopped being "so passionate and vocal" about wanting to see Cavill back in the role that shot him to stardom. Johnson also shared that Black Adam's Superman cameo is meant to set up a future Black Adam vs. Superman film as well as a proper Man of Steel sequel, which was recently reported to be in the works at Warner Bros, with Charles Roven set as a producer on the film. No release date has been announced for Man of Steel 2 at this time.

Fans can check out Cavill's return as Superman in Black Adam, which is currently playing in theaters.
