Jigen is the primary antagonist of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and the leader of an organization known as Kara. He was introduced to us after the events of the Mujina Bandits Arc in the manga and his fighting prowess was recently revealed as well.
As expected of someone who leads the members of Kara, Jigen is monstrously powerful. He was able to take on and defeat both Naruto and Sasuke in battle at once and he did so without even receiving so much as a scratch. Much of his powers stem from him being Isshiki's vessel but they're quite dangerous, nonetheless. Here are the 8 strongest known techniques of Jigen in Boruto.
8 Flight
Flight is one of the most basic abilities that Jigen has at his disposal, thanks to being the vessel of an Otsutsuki. At one point in the series, having the power of flight meant that the user was special, such as Onoki having made a reputation for himself for this.
However, towards the end, most strong characters, such as Naruto Uzumaki, Madara Uchiha, Kaguya Otsutsuki, among others gained this ability. In Jigen's case, things are the same. This ability is powerful, however, it certainly isn't the strongest in his arsenal.
7 Ninjutsu Absorption
Another ability that is commonly used in the Narutoverse now, Ninjutsu absorption is another main ability of Jigen that he's granted through the Karma. He was seen using this power against Sasuke Uchiha when he managed to absorb his Amaterasu even when hit with it at point-blank distance.
This ability of his basically nullifies almost all ninjutsu against him, however, whether techniques such as Boro's mist can be absorbed is not known. Furthermore, this technique can also be passed on to others, as confirmed when Kawaki was able to use the same power on countless occasions. Jigen's skill with it, however, is far more refined.
6 Chakra Absorption
The ability to absorb chakra is a different application of Karma, although the same ability as being able to absorb ninjutsu. Since Jigen is a master at using the powers of the Karma, it isn't a surprise that he has this skill at his disposal.
Surprisingly, he hasn't been seen using it in combat at all, however, we do know that he can perform this Jutsu since Boruto Uzumaki could do it with his Karma. Both Karma have the power to absorb Ninjutsu, so they should also have the ability to be able to absorb chakra from one's body. This Jutsu of Jigen is extremely similar to the Rinnegan's ability to extract chakra from someone's body.
5 Space-time Ninjutsu
Being a member of the Otsutsuki clan, Jigen is able to utilize space-time ninjutsu very effectively. It's not a surprise to see him being able to perform this technique, as Momoshiki Otsutsuki, Kinshiki Otsutsuki, and even Kaguya Otsutsuki was able to utilize a similar Jutsu.
Jigen's use of this Jutsu is rather similar to that of Sasuke's and upon using his chakra, he can be seen opening a portal that takes him to anyplace that he wants. Undoubtedly, it is an exceptionally powerful Jutsu.
4 Chakra Rods
Perhaps Jigen's most annoying ability is his chakra rods. He has exceptional control over this skill and although many others, such as Madara, Obito, or even Momoshiki, have had this ability, nobody has used it as skillfully as Jigen.
In his fight against Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, Jigen proved that this technique is still superior to most other Jutsu that exist in the Boruto series. He was able to attack and defend just using this and eventually ended up brutally injuring both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha with it. It was partly thanks to this skill of his that he was able to defeat them effortlessly.
3 Shrinking Objects
Jigen has a rather peculiar ability to be able to shrink objects at will. We saw a glimpse of this skill when he clashed against Naruto and Sasuke on a different planet. Although initially, his powers made it look like he made objects vanish or created them out of thin air, Sasuke later deduced that this was one of his powers.
In his deduction, Sasuke noticed that Jigen had the power to reduce things to microscopic sizes almost instantly and then turn them back to their normal sizes. When used with his chakra rods, Jigen got himself a troublesome ability capable of defeating almost anyone standing in his way.
2 Shrinking Himself
By far, the most troublesome of all of Jigen's abilities is one that allows him to shrink himself. Just as mentioned above, Jigen has the power to shrink objects to microscopic sizes almost instantaneously which lets him take his opponents by surprise. This also applies to his own body. Just like any other object, Jigen can also reduce his body to microscopic sizes and then return to his normal size instantly.
To the opponent, it appears as if Jigen is teleporting on the battlefield, which isn't actually the case. So far, only Sasuke Uchiha had managed to keep track of Jigen in this state, and this was only because he had the power of the Sharingan at his disposal. Someone like Naruto couldn't trace him at all, despite having the powers of the Six Paths Sage Mode which, theoretically, should've allowed him to sense him, at the very least. The extent of this ability isn't known yet, and hopefully, we'll see more of it in the future.
1 Sealing Jutsu
If all the powers mentioned above weren't enough, Jigen also has a Sealing Jutsu up the sleeve that he used against Naruto Uzumaki when the two clashed. This Jutsu sees Jigen make use of containers to trap the opponent inside.
The size of the vessel is then reduced with his ability. Other than Jigen, nobody else is capable of undoing the Sealing Jutsu, however, a space-time ninjutsu can get through the barrier and help those caught inside, as seen when Kawaki and Boruto managed to extract Naruto from this prison. Interestingly, if someone attempts to open the seal forcibly, it could possibly end up hurting the person caught inside.
