On the heels of its Japanese release, Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has debuted the full-length trailer for "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," complete with English subtitles.

The film centers on Naruto's son Boruto, introduced last fall in the final chapter of the manga and in “The Last: Naruto the Movie,” who rejects his father even has he seeks to surpass his accomplishments.

Opening Aug. 7 in Japan, this film was written by "Naruto" creator Masashi Kishimoto, who served as character designer and chief production supervisor. According to Anime News Network, theatergoers will be able to choose between two limited-edition fans designed by Kishimoto (below) as a special gift.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will screen in Australia and New Zealand later this year.
