Karma is one of the strongest known powers in the world of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. It was introduced to us by Shojoji, one of the Mujina Bandits members who had information on Kara.
The Karma is a brand that few characters in the world of Boruto carry. This mark grants them tremendous powers, and although not a lot about it is known just yet, it is already one of the most overpowered things to exist in the world. Here are the eight strongest abilities that the Karma bearers are known to possess.
8 Flight
One of the main abilities that the Karma grants to its users is the power to fly. Although not accessible in the initial stage that Boruto Uzumaki can control, the second stage of the Karma allows the user to fly, as seen with Jigen, and later Boruto Uzumaki as well.
Whether this power is accessible in the first stage upon mastering the Karma isn't know just yet. Either way, this power is one of the most special things that Karma grants to its users, and knowing that the bigger enemies, such as the Otsutsuki are all capable of flight, this power seems to be very handy.
7 Energy Blast
Used only by Kawaki so far, this technique allows him to produce a massive blast from his Karma seal that is capable of killing anyone in its path. This technique was used against Garou initially, and then against Boro as well. In both cases, it managed to do tremendous damage to the enemy.
Since Kawaki doesn't know how to utilize chakra properly, it is highly likely that the energy that is used to produce this blast comes from the chakra that is absorbed through the Karma in the first place. Furthermore, Kawaki remains to be the only user of this ability so far.
6 Chakra Absorption
Another one of Karma's abilities is to give its users the ability to steal chakra from others. Just by placing their palm on the bodies of another person, a Karma user can extract their chakra and add it to their own.
This was recently seen when Boruto Uzumaki stole Naruto's chakra and used it to defeat Boro. However, it was Momoshiki Otsutsuki who was in control of Boruto's body at this stage. Whether Jigen and Kawaki can use this ability isn't known, but it's highly likely that they are users of this ability as well.
5 Ninjutsu Absorption
Since the Karma has the ability to absorb chakra from the body of a user, it is easy to guess that it can also allow its user to do the same with Ninjutsu. Any user of the Karma can absorb ninjutsu that is thrown their way.
This is yet another ability of the Otsutsuki clan members that the Karma seal grants to those who bear it. Boruto Uzumaki, Jigen, and Kawaki have all been seen using this power in the series. Just like with chakra absorption, the absorbed chakra is then most likely stored in the user's body and added to their own pool.
4 Chakra Receivers
Just like the Rinnegan, the Karma seal seems to grant its user the ability to create chakra receivers. So far, Jigen is the only one who is known to be able to pull this feat off, however, since Kawaki will eventually be able to do everything that Jigen does right now, it is highly likely that he'll be able to do it as well.
The chakra receivers are strong enough to stab even the strongest of people and disrupt their flow of chakra. As proven by Jigen, they can be extremely lethal in a fight. Since Momoshiki Otsutsuki could use this ability as well, we expect Boruto to be able to pull it off in the future too.
3 Space-Time Ninjutsu
All the users of Karma seem to be able to perform Space-time ninjutsu, making them some of the most powerful characters in the entire series. Jigen is capable of opening portals to anywhere using his Karma, although it likely takes a huge toll on his chakra reserves.
While Boruto and Kawaki are able to perform this Jutsu as well, they need to use their Karma in tandem to be able to pull this feat off. From what we know so far, it appears that their skill isn't as high with the Karma yet. In the future, it is highly likely that they'll be able to use this Jutsu individually as well.
2 Jigen's Ability
A Karma ability unique to Jigen, this special ability allows him to tune things, including himself, down to microscopic sizes instantaneously, making him extremely deadly to deal with in battle. The objects shrunk down in size can also be restored back to their regular size almost instantaneously, making it nearly impossible to defeat him.
Even Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha together struggled to get past this ability of Jigen. Although it appears to be simple, it is quite possibly one of the most deadly abilities that we've seen in the series so far. In the future, Kawaki should also be able to use this power, although, for that, Isshiki needs to be transferred over to him completely.
1 Enhanced Physical Ability
The strongest power that the Karma grants to its users is probably the drastic physical boost. When activated, Boruto Uzumaki was able to fight against his father to some extent, which just goes to show how dangerous this power really is. Furthermore, it allowed Kawaki to take down Jonin level threats that even Konohamaru struggled to deal with.
In Karma stage 2, the physical abilities are heightened to their absolute peak, and even someone like Boruto becomes as powerful as a full-fledged Otsutsuki clan member. Recently, Boruto Uzumaki was seen being able to use the Karma stage 2 to defeat Boro within a few moves, which shows how big a power boost it really is. According to Jigen, it'll be the same for both Boruto and Kawaki, which is also why he's taken such a keen interest in the two of them.
