It wasn't easy for Naruto to achieve his goal, in fact, he had to work hard every day to be where he is right now. Ever since Naruto took the position of the Hokage, it is easy to see that things are not the same. Naruto is no longer the same person that he used to be; he has truly changed.

11 Highly Protective of The Hidden Leaf

Naruto's attitude to the Hidden Leaf has always been positive. He has protected the Hidden Leaf several times from peril and he's quite rightly regarded as the hero of the village.

After assuming the seat of Hokage, Naruto's devotion has reached new levels, and now he's more protective of the Hidden Leaf. When Momoshiki invaded the village during the Chunin Exams arc, Naruto let himself be captured just to protect the people in the vicinity. This shows how much Naruto is willing to sacrifice himself for the Hidden Leaf.

10 More Serious Now

The fans grew up watching an idiot who would fool around even in the most serious situations, however, things are different now. Since he became the Hokage, Naruto has turned into a more serious person.

He perfectly understands that each situation requires a different approach. Naruto can stay calm even in the tensest situations, which will only benefit him and others around him in the long run.

9 Gained New Power

Naruto Uzumaki was blessed with new powers by the Sage of Six Paths, and these powers allowed him to defeat Madara and Kaguya. When the series ended, it seemed highly unlikely that Naruto would gain any new ability, but the fans were proven wrong.

In the recent chapters of Boruto, it was revealed that Naruto has gained a completely new power-up known as the Baryon Mode. With this power, Naruto was able to reduce the life-span of Isshiki Otsutsuki.

8 Ignoring His Family

After the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto was married to Hinata and together they started their own family. Naruto desired to have a family ever since he was a kid, however, he's not invested in them. Being the head of a village is not an easy job and Naruto knows this very well.

He has chosen to prioritize the Hidden Leaf over his family and there's actually a good reason for it. Naruto considers the entire village to be his family, so it's obvious that to him every person in the village is equally important.

7 Not Reluctant To Threaten People

Some of Naruto's speeches that he used to give to the villains are really famous. They were riveting most of the time, but it came to a point where there were just too many speeches, which made them drab. Now Naruto has changed and it's for the better.

He doesn't shy away from threatening his opponents if they don't back down. Naruto threatened the clones of Shin Uchiha when they preparing to fight the ninjas from the Hidden Leaf. The era of giving every villain a new speech is finally over and it only makes Naruto's character more interesting.

6 Better Politically

A leader cannot do everything with power alone; they need to use their brains as well. Thankfully for the Hidden Leaf, Naruto has lost his capriciousness and has become more apt at handling political affairs. He has continued to maintain good relations with other villages.

Under Naruto's leadership, the Hidden Leaf was once again the venue for Chunin Exams. The world is peaceful and it's all thanks to Naruto's efforts.

5 Stronger Than Before

Naruto's progress from a boy to a man has been a pivotal part of the childhood of many fans. From the beginning of Part I to the end of Part II, Naruto matured both physically and mentally; his progress didn't stagnate even after the conclusion of the series.

It is quite apparent that Naruto has continued to grow stronger. As of now, no ninja in the world can beat Naruto in a fight. Naruto sits at the very top when it comes to power with only Sasuke capable of providing a good fight.

4 Called Out His Son For Cheating

Early on, Naruto's relationship with his family, especially with Boruto wasn't the best. Boruto was not a big fan of his father ignoring his family altogether. One could argue that Boruto was right.

During the Chunin Exams, the relationship between father and son took a turn for the worst. Boruto was cheating in a test and only Naruto knew about it, and to everyone's surprise, Naruto called out his son for cheating. It's definitely not something that Naruto would have done if he was younger.

3 Willing To Sacrifice Himself For The Greater Good

Seventh Hokage Naruto

It is not easy for people to throw themselves at some problem, but for Naruto, it seems to be normal. Naruto has helped out other people throughout his life, however, there wasn't any risk to his life. After becoming the Hokage, he is more open to sacrificing himself for the greater good.

During Momoshiki's attack, he didn't retaliate, which allowed the extraterrestrial to take him away. Recently, in Boruto, he used Baryon Mode, which puts his own life at risk, just to defeat Isshiki Otsutsuki.

2 Understands His Position

Naruto had the habit of jumping into all kinds of problems during the original series. Ever since he became the Hokage, Naruto doesn't do that anymore and instead protects and leads his village. He knows that the Hokage cannot leave the village, and this is better for the future of the Hidden Leaf.

1 Stopped Chasing Sasuke

Naruto and Sasuke

For the majority of the series, Naruto was chasing Sasuke in the hope of bringing him back to the village and putting an end to his madness. After the series ended, Sasuke realized his mistakes and walked the path of good. Naruto was the most relieved person in the world as he would no longer have to chase him everywhere. As Hokage, Naruto no longer has this responsibility.
