Every member of the Kara is known to be monstrously powerful, capable of taking on even the Kage of the ninja world.
While there are quite a lot of perks when it comes to joining this organization, at the same time, the members of Kara face lots of difficulties in living a dangerous life under Isshiki Otsutsuki's rule.
10 They Face The Threat Of Isshiki Otsutsuki, Kara's Leader
While the members of Kara are unbelievably powerful, none are even close to the level of Isshiki Otsutsuki. Being a member of this group means that the threat of Isshiki killing them always exists. The moment he is unsatisfied with a member's performance, or senses they're up to something, Isshiki has others dispose of them. In extreme situations, he can simply do the job himself, meaning every member of the Kara needs to be very careful.
9 The Kara Members Face Threats From Each Other
Most members of the Kara don't have a good relationship with each other. Every character works for their own goals and some even worship Isshiki and dedicate themselves to him. Consequently, there is no trust among the members of the organization. Kara members face constant threats from each other, as seen when Kashin Koji wiped out Victor without a second thought and even turned on Isshiki Otsutsuki later on in the story.

The members of Kara are quite powerful on their own, but to ensure that their strength shoots through the roof, Jigen had Amado make use of advanced Scientific Ninja Tools on their bodies, enhancing their abilities to a completely different level. It is highly likely that these modifications cause a lot of pain in the subjects. What's more, members like Kawaki and Code had the Karma transferred to their bodies, which is an extremely painful process and could even result in death.

This makes every single member of the group a target for the Five Great Villages of the world. Any Kara member seen is likely to be taken on in combat and either exterminated or captured.
6 The Expectations For The Members Are Simply Too High At Times
Isshiki, having established a mighty organization, has something that he expects from every single member of the group. Often, the expectations are too high, and while the members live up to them for most of the time, they can fail at others. Jigen doesn't take failure well, meaning a string of bad results could very well get the members killed. Having no regard for life, Jigen doesn't think twice before having another member dispose of them or killing them himself.
5 Every Member Has Their Life In Amado's Hands
Amado is the genius scientist of the Kara who played a pivotal role in making the Kara as dangerous as they are. Thanks to his knowledge and scientific expertise, every member of the Kara had their bodies modified with Scientific Ninja Tools. While this does indeed make them stronger, it also gives Amado complete control over their bodies. This was evident from when he deactivated Delta within a matter of seconds and could've done the same to Kashin Koji if he wanted to.
4 The Outer Members Of The Kara Hold No Value In Jigen's Eyes
The Kara is a large organization and has quite a lot of members. The strongest of the lot are known as Inners, and they're very close to Jigen.
The others are much weaker in comparison and are known as Outers. Jigen has little regard for the lives of the Outers, and to him they're just pawns that can be replaced at any time. They have no real value in the organization and simply exist to do Jigen's work for him.
3 Every Member Of The Kara Has To Work Towards Isshiki's Goals
Isshiki, the Otsutsuki who used Jigen as his vessel, is the greatest power in the Kara. The entire organization was established to help him find a suitable vessel and then drain the chakra of the earth just like the Otsutsuki clan members do to other planets. While some members, such as Amado and Kashin Koji did work against him, all the others simply exist to serve him. Their own desires don't matter, and at the end of the day, they live just to further Isshiki's cause of gaining strength and upgrading himself.
2 The Price For Failure In The Kara Is Usually Death
The Kara members are usually capable of completing whatever mission is given to them. However, on certain occasions, they fail to accomplish their task, as seen when Delta was asked to retrieve Kawaki, or Boro was asked to keep watch over Naruto Uzumaki. Both of them failed their tasks and eventually died in battle. Thanks to Amado's Scientific Ninja Tools, Delta was able to regain consciousness in a new body while Boro died.

While the members of the Kara are strong and menacing, they certainly are not going to be the victors at the end of the day. Being a criminal organization and the villains of the story, the Kara members are all destined to fail from the very beginning. Although they certainly do accomplish some incredible things as the story progresses, eventually, they're bound to lose and then be exterminated by either their own allies or the five villages, regardless of what their intentions are.
