Very nice!

According to Collider, Sacha Baron Cohen produced and filmed a secret sequel to Borat. He even screened it for a few individuals in the entertainment industry.

Plot details remain under wraps, but Cohen's tricks for the first film, in which he would go undercover and film real-life interactions with Americans that would be put into the movie, no longer work since he is too recognizable. Instead, he has had to go undercover. One source described it as "Cohen playing Borat playing Cohen." Another source refuted that description but did confirm that the project exists. It is unclear who is paying for the sequel or if it will premiere in theaters or on VOD/streaming.

The news comes a few weeks after Cohen was spotted filming as Borat. The footage, which was posted on TikTok, shows Cohen driving a pickup truck behind a van full of camera crew members.

Cohen's Borat Sagdiyev first appeared on F2F and Da Ali G Show, eventually starring in his own feature film, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. It follows its titular hero as he travels the USA, learning its customs and traditions while trying to win over Pamela Anderson. The film was a critical and commercial success, earning $262.6 million on an $18 million budget.
