We recently saw in the Crisis On Earth-X crossover just how crowded the Arrowverse has become with superheroes, but Booster Gold and Blue Beetle were very nearly added into the fold, too.

Well-known heroes such as Elongated Man and The Ray have recently been introduced into The CW's Arrowverse shows, and Marc Guggenheim discussed the inclusion of two other popular heroes when speaking at a panel session at ACE Comic Con, according to Comicbook.com. “I will say, both those characters [Booster Gold and Blue Beetle] are characters we’ve talked about," Guggenheim revealed. "Originally Ray Palmer, who was introduced on Arrow, he was supposed to be Ted Kord and we went another way."

"So, you know, Booster and Blue Beetle, all the ‘B’ characters really, we’re always talking about but nothing I can announce or speak to at the moment," the executive producer added. It's worth remembering that both Ted Kord and Kord Industries have been referenced on Arrow before, so they definitely exist on Earth-1 - it's just a waiting game before they make a possible appearance on the show.
