Fox is developing a TV adaptation of BOOM! Studios' "Protocol Orphans," the graphic novel created by Peter Facinelli and Rob DeFranco and written by Michael Alan Nelson and drawn by newcomer Mariano Navarro.

According to Deadline, Amanda Segel will pen the adaptation with 20th Century Fox TV and BOOM! producing. The graphic novel follows a family of orphans trained by the United States government to become covert operatives.

Co-creators Facinelli and DeFranco serve as producers with Segel, BOOM! Founder and CEO Ross Richie, President of Development Stephen Christy and SVP Television Josh Levy serving as executive producers.
