Ahead of its release in just under two weeks on Nov. 11, BOOM! Studios has revealed an official preview of Power Rangers #1.

The new Power Rangers series comes from writer Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and artist Francesco Mortarino (Firefly: The Sting). It is one of two new Power Rangers titles being launched by BOOM!, the other being the Los Angeles-based publisher's new Mighty Morphin series. BOOM! teases, "Two New Series. Two New Teams. The Era of Unlimited Power begins here -- and only Lord Drakkon, their greatest enemy, can save the Power Rangers in November 2020!"

According to an official synopsis, Power Rangers #1 "reveals a new cosmic threat that only the original Power Rangers, now known as the Omega Rangers -- Jason, Trini and Zack -- can hope to defeat! But their secret weapon is... the villainous Lord Drakkon?! Zordon forbids the Omega Rangers from engaging Drakkon, so if they want to save the universe then they'll have to go rogue -- and go up against their Mighty Morphin allies." In addition to six preview pages from Power Rangers #1, BOOM! has shared Matteo Scalera's main cover, as well as variant covers by Daniele Di Nicuolo and Peach Momoko.

Written by Ryan Parrott and illustrated by Francesco Mortarino with colors by Raúl Angulo and letters by Ed Dukeshire, Power Rangers #1 goes on sale Nov. 11 from BOOM! Studios.
