Warning: The following contains spoilers from Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett “Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm,” streaming now on Disney+.

Chapter 4 of The Book of Boba Fett spent most of its time in one of Boba’s dream sequences, and one of the episode’s main themes was revenge. After saving Master Assassin Fennec Shand’s life, they worked together to reclaim Boba’s Firespray Gunship from Jabba’s Palace. Then, the two of them exacted revenge on both the Kintan Striders and Boba’s nemesis -- the Sarlacc Pit.

By finding Fennec, the series’ two timelines began drawing closer together because fans have now seen most of Boba’s whereabouts before finding his armor in The Mandalorian. That will enable The Book of Boba Fett to feature its main timeline and Boba’s war with the Pykes in the final three episodes. Accordingly, Boba didn’t mince words at the end of Chapter 4. He knew that he had to prepare for an all-out war, but he also knew that he didn’t have enough muscle to bring down a major crime syndicate. That’s when Fennec Shand dropped a hint about a major live-action debut.

Boba Fett raises a toast

At a dinner party, Boba tried to recruit some muscle from the local vassals, but no one wanted to confront the Pykes, opting to stay neutral in the coming civil war. Following the failed meeting, Fennec asked Boba how much treasure they had lying around, and Boba responded that he had plenty of credits. Clearly pleased by the response, Fennec said, “Credits can buy muscle if you know where to look.”

The clear implication was that Fennec wanted to hit up the bounty hunter’s guild and hire some firepower. In-universe, adding to their lies of allies was a must, although it was surprising that Boba never thought of hiring muscle as a former bounty hunter. Out of universe, hiring bounty hunters is an even better idea because, let’s be honest, The Book of Boba Fett has been a bit slow. So, introducing some classic characters would be a great way to spice up the series.

The comics just finished the War of the Bounty Hunters arc, where everyone wanted to kill each other. However, money talks, and this is a great place for a badass bounty hunter team-up. Ignoring the musical tease about Din Djarin at the end of the episode, multiple other bounty hunters could (and should) make an appearance. Dengar, Bossk, Zuckuss and Tasu Leech would be some of the easiest names to suggest, and any or all of them would be welcomed additions to the show.

There is, of course, one final bounty hunter that fans have been clamoring for ever since The Clone Wars’ first cancellation -- Cad Bane. The bounty hunter made a cameo appearance in The Bad Batch, and there were hints at a confrontation between him and Boba. However, it was pretty clear that they never really worked out their differences. Since then, there has been no word on Cad Bane’s whereabouts, but it's likely that he’s alive.

Honestly, Cad Bane would have made a great antagonist for the whole series. At this point, though, fans would be happy with his live-action debut, and there won’t be a better opportunity than Boba Fett putting out a call for bounty-hunting-muscle. The two of them could put aside their differences, defeat the Pykes and go back to a head-hunting feud in a second season.

To see if Cad Bane makes his live-action debut, new episodes of The Book of Boba Fett are available on Disney+ every Wednesday.
