WARNING: The following contains spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett, "Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm," now streaming on Disney+.

In the Star Wars Universe, there have always been heated debates as to who was the deadliest assassin around. Some would argue it's Sith warriors such as Darth Maul, while others think this accolade should go to independent contractors like Black Krrasantan. Well, in The Book of Boba Fett, given how impervious and badass she is in battle, this title clearly belongs to none other than Fennec Shand.

Fennec was unlucky in her fight against Din Djarin in The Mandalorian, but even after their scrap, he knew Fennec was a different kind of beast. It's why Boba recruited her in the first place, helping modify her with cybernetic enhancements, as he spotted lethal potential.

This upgrade allowed her to shine when she fought the Night Wind assassins, jumping from building to building as if she were a super-soldier. Now, her entire glorious skill set was on display when Boba needed her to help him break his Slave I ship out from Bib Fortuna's palace in flashbacks, cementing Fennec as a relentless soldier.

Firstly, she's brilliant on stealth jobs, using her 3-D mapping orb to create a schematic of Bib's fortress and where all the soldiers were. Given she's an expert sniper too, if Fennec needed someone dead from afar, with this map she could easily do it and escape without anyone picking up clues. Secondly, Fennec has that light of foot that assassins craved, per when she snuck up on the chef slasher in Bib's kitchen, slitting its throat with ease.

All this impressed Boba, to the point one could tell not even he would want to fight her. In addition, Fennec's worth in the field was compounded when she and Boba broke the ship out of the cargo bay. There, Fennec proved to be a sharp shot, taking out enemies efficiently like DC's Deadshot, while mixing it up with ease with hand-to-hand combat. The one-woman army used MMA to beat down Gamorreans and anyone who tried to get to her, even smashing thugs on Boba's ship as he took flight. There, Fennec was quick as lightning, brutal with all her moves for anyone who tried to board. The icing on the cake came as she fired on the weights in mid-air with the vessel turning, dropping the gates down and allowing them to escape, reminding viewers of her stamina, balance and poise.

Last but not least, in the future, when Boba wanted the crime lords of Tatooine to partner with him to stave off the Pyke Syndicate's ambitions for Mos Espa, Fennec was the one who opened the meeting. She laid the foundation down to convince them to fight for Boba or remain neutral, which showed how intimidating she could be.

This speech proved Fennec was as cerebral as she was physical, and with brains, beauty and brawn to disarm mob bosses like this, she could easily have set them up and taken the room out. It's why Boba needs her as his head assassin, recognizing she's the most loyal, valuable killer in the galaxy.

To see Fennec as the deadliest assassin around, a new episode of The Book of Boba Fett arrives each Wednesday on Disney+.
