The latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett has fans celebrating as an obscure Star Wars character finally made his live-action debut.Eagle-eyed viewers were ecstatic upon seeing Black Krrsantan, a fan-favorite character who first appeared in 2015 within the pages of Marvel's Star Wars comics. Upon being exiled from his home planet, Krrsantan, or "Santy" as he is known by Doctor Aphra, pursues a life in bounty-hunting, quickly becoming known as one of the most formidable Wookiees in the galaxy. While his appearance in The Book of Boba Fett is fleeting, his intimidating presence was enough to impress fans who have been hoping to see the imposing gladiator.Related: How Long Was Boba Fett Actually in the Sarlacc Pit?

Black Krrsantan had a prolific career as a gun-for-hire, working throughout the reign of the Galactic Empire into the ere of the New Republic. He gained an understanding of violence and bloodshed after he was kidnapped from Kashyyyk by the notorious Xonti Brothers and has worked with a variety of villainous characters, including Darth Vader and Jabba the Hutt. The Book of Boba Fett sees Black Krrsantan acting as muscle for the Hutts as he tries to (unsuccessfully) intimidate Boba Fett.

It's currently unknown whether Black Krrsantan will return in subsequent episodes. Given the popularity of the character, the bounty hunter may return to further harass Boba Fett and his posse. The comic book iteration of the character is notable for having a large scar across his left eye while the version seen in The Book of Boba Fett seemingly has an unmarked face.
