Book Event/Fundraiser!

This Sunday, the New Rochelle Public Library is having their annual "CelebriTea" fundrasier, where authors discuss their work while attendees listen, interact and well, have tea (and fancy pastries). All to support the New Rochelle Public Library!

This year's crop of authors include David Hajdu, essayist, columnist, critic and author of the classic Ten Cent Plague (about the creation of the Comics Code Authority), Deborah Baker, author of Extremis: The Life of Laura Riding (nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1994!), among other biographies and essays and, well, yours truly (cue the singing of "One of these things is not like the others").

The panel will be moderated by longtime New York Times columnist Kate Stone Lombardi.

How perfect is it for me to be involved in a project with an author who has not only written a book about comics but also a biography of Bob Dylan?!

Tickets are on sale here.
