Bond 25: Cary Fukunaga Shares Photo From Production Start

With production in full swing for the currently untitled Bond 25, filmmaker Cary Fukunaga has shared the first behind-the-scenes look from the film.

In a photo posted on Fukunaga's Instagram, the production slate for the film shows that principal photography has begun on the sequel's 78th scene with Fukunaga confirming that filming has been underway for six days.

EON Productions officially announced the start of principal photography earlier this past week, along with the film's main cast including a returning Daniel Craig and franchise newcomers Rami Malek and Ana de Armas.

The production is currently filming in Jamaica where the brief plot synopsis revealed that James Bond has retired from active duty to live a relatively peaceful life on the Caribbean island before being called back into action by CIA operative Felix Leiter to stop a new villain threatening the world.

Directed and co-written by Cary Fukunaga, Bond 25 stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek. It is scheduled for release on April 8, 2020.
