The upcoming 25th installment in the James Bond franchise may be riddled with behind-the-scenes drama, but you'd never know it based on an energetic new Bond 25 set video.
The footage, which was shot in Jamaica, features director Cary Fukuaga, as well as cast members Daniel Craig, Jeffrey Wright and Lashanna Lynch.
While the video itself is upbeat in nature, production on the film has been anything but. In August 2018, director Danny Boyle exited the project and was soon replaced by Fukunaga. Then, last May, production was suspended when Craig suffered a severe ankle injury that required surgery while filming an action scene. Less than a month later, a controlled explosion caused damage to the 007 set and left a crew member seriously injured. And, most recently, a man was arrested at Pinewood Studios after a hidden camera was found in one of the on-set toilets.
Directed and co-written by Cary Fukunaga, Bond 25 stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek. It is scheduled for release on April 8, 2020.
