The next adventure of James Bond has been both shaken and stirred.

The Daily Mail reports the upcoming Bond 24 has scored two new writers: franchise veterans Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have been hired to rewrite the script from Skyfall's John Logan. Apparently, executives behind the Bond franchise weren't thrilled with the direction of John Logan's script, requiring the return of Purvis and Wade to the fold, and leading to a production delay.

"Let's call it polite turmoil," an unnamed source tells the Daily Mail about the behind-the-scenes action. "People are getting on with their work, but we have to wait for the script, so filming won't begin till December, a few months later than they wanted."

No word on if the planned November 6, 2015 release date will shift as a result.
