Known for their work on "Bob's Burgers," sister-writer duo Lizzie and Wendy Molyneux have been tapped for Sony Pictures' female-led "21 Jump Street" spinoff, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

After liking the Molyneuxs' original pitch, the studio invited them both on board alongside the previously announced Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs (Comedy Central's "Broad City"). The two teams will work on separate scripts as Sony pursues a dual-track development.

This new female-centric project would follow "21 Jump Street" and its sequel "22 Jump Street." Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill starred in the first two films, which followed two young-looking cops who go undercover at a high school to bust a drug ring. A third installment, titled "23 Jump Street," is also in the works.
