WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Bob's Burgers Season 11, Episode 7, "Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid," which aired November 22 on Fox.

Bob's Burgers is a show that has taken full advantage of the fact that its main character is a chef who loves making food. One of the most prominent ways this is done is using Thanksgiving episodes. Over the last decade, each Thanksgiving episode of Bob's Burgers has been memorable, with Bob's love for the holiday playing into the typical disasters that occur. This year, however, the spotlight is taken off of Bob and placed on Gene, who opens this episode with the news that he is suffering from the stomach flu and has to spend the day in the bathroom.

Fortunately, Tina and Louise, being the caring siblings that they are, decided to help their brother get over the blues of missing Thanksgiving by making him hate food. In typical Belcher fashion, the siblings both tell stories that twist the plot of a classic movie to make it fit the Thanksgiving theme.

The Breadator

Louise tells the first story as she turns the Predator into "the Breadator," making Gene into Dutch and Bob into a bread-based version of the alien hunter. Her movie turns the deadly camouflaging beast into a bread monster that shoots a laser that turns people into pastry items. The Breadator easily takes out all the cast, leaving only Louise and Gene to hunt him down. Gene sends Louise to get the chopper as he falls into a lake of butter, covering himself from the Breadator's sensors. Using this to his advantage, Gene easily takes down the Breadator and saves the day. Unfortunately, while this story made Gene crave bread a little less, it wasn't enough to fully push him away from food.

Gene Harrison Ford Belcher

Tina takes the reins for the second story and decides to approach it by making Gene hate peaches because he was looking forward to having Bob's Roasted Pear and Brie en Croute. Her vilification of pears came in the form of an Air Force One parody, which sees her turn Gene into "Gene Harrison Ford Belcher," taking over the role of President James Marshall. The plot sees Gene trying to save the passengers on Air Force One by defeating the evil pears who planned to peel the clothes off of all of the passengers. While the story has a lot of holes and inconsistencies and seems to be more tailored for Tina than Gene, it still helps the sick Belcher.

Parmageddon

With all of this going on, Bob takes the opportunity to prepare dinner, and he notices a weeks-old chicken parmesan in the fridge with a bite taken out of it. Bob connects the dots and realizes that the previous night when he was preparing dinner, he told Gene not to eat the chicken parmesan because it was old and needed to be thrown out. Later in the night, while searching for a snack, Gene took a bite out of it, assuming nothing of it, which resulted in his sickness.

Instead of getting angry at Gene for eating the rotten leftovers, Bob decides to let his son known he forgives him using a story. Bob takes the plot of Michael Bay's Armageddon, turning the meteor into a giant piece of chicken parmesan, and makes Gene into Harry S. Stamper and the rest of the crew of the oil rig his family. In the end, Gene makes the ultimate sacrifice and eats the chicken parmesan, thus saving the world.

After the story, Gene exits the bathroom, confessing to his mistake and finally realizing that he actually has food poisoning, not the stomach flu. Fortunately, by this point, he had been snacking for half an hour and finally feels good enough to eat.
