Blur's new album 'The Magic Whip' inspires comic collaboration

To accompany the release of The Magic Whip, Blur has teamed with a Hong Kong artist to create a comic inspired by the band's first studio album in 12 years.

Drawn by KongKee of Penguin Lab, Travel to Hong Kong With Blur pays tribute to the city where the album was recorded, and from which it draws influence.

The band teased the comic's release Tuesday with a scavenger hunt, dropping clues on Twitter where fans could find copies hidden in Glasgow, Blackpool and Llandudno, all U.S. cities where the Blur is playing this week. Travel to Hong Kong With Blur will be available beginning Friday from the band's website.

Blur also released a video interview with KongKee, in which he discusses Hong Kong, comics, The Magic Whip and his collaboration with the band.
