Bluegrass Films Snags <i>The Order</i>

One of the producers of Ted and Battleship has picked up the film rights to The Order, the supernatural comic published by ArcanaBenderspink Comics, the line formed by Arcana Studios and film and television production company Benderspink.

Deadline reports that Scott Stuber's Bluegrass Films has hired screenwriter Brian Nathanson (The Many Deaths of Barnaby James) to pen the adaptation of the comic by Erik Hendrix and Sean Patrick O'Reilly about an elite group of Vatican agents that travels the world fighting evil forces.

Stuber will produce with Benderspink. Arcana's O'Reilly will be an executive producer.
