Bloodshot takes aim with statue based on David Aja's art

Valiant Entertainment has partnered with Quarantine Studio to release a limited-edition statue based on David Aja's cover for 2012's Bloodshot #1.

The publisher's first licensed statue, the nearly 15-inch-tall Bloodshot is manufactured from cold-cast resin, and features twin side arms, a katana and assault rifle.

"For 25 years, fans have been eagerly awaiting their first Valiant statue and we're immensely proud that the time has finally come," Russell A. Brown, Valiant's president of consumer products, promotions and ad sales, said in a statement. "Quarantine Studio has poured an incredible amount of time, talent and detail into giving Valiant's very first statue release the jaw-dropping debut that Bloodshot deserves. From top to bottom, this is a beautiful realization of one of Valiant's most enduring characters and a gloriously stunning interpretation of David Aja's vision."

Limited to just 300 pieces, the Bloodshot statue will be available in January for $245.
