Blomkamp Teases Ripley, Hicks in 'Alien' Sequel Concept Art

Director Neill Blomkamp teased fans hungry for news on his upcoming "Aliens" film yesterday, releasing a new piece of concept art via his Instagram account.

The image shows Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and Hicks (Michael Biehn) standing alongside several Marines, presumably preparing to do battle with some xenomorphs.

"#alien going very well," the director wrote. "Love this project."

While no release date for the latest installment in the 20th Century Fox franchise has been announced, Biehn indicated a mid-2017 target for the movie when he released a different piece of concept art of Ripley and Hicks back in March. "Damn someone forgot to tell these two to hit the ageing cream," the actor posted, referring to his character's scarred face.
