Blockbuster may have declared bankruptcy in 2011, but that’s not stopping the rental store chain from opening a brand new location in London. The catch? The store will only be open for two days, and the only movie it carries is 20th Century Fox's latest X-Men-adjacent film, Deadpool 2.

According to Marketing Dive, the pop-up Blockbuster will be opening in London’s Shoreditch neighborhood as part of a marketing push for the Blu-ray and DVD release of Deadpool 2 in the U.K. The store will be open for two days only, though: September 17 and 18.

Photos posted to Instagram by fans show that the new Blockbuster is a painstaking recreation of the original Blockbuster Video stores from 1989, before the company dropped “Video” from its name.

Any customers lucky enough to still have their original Blockbuster membership cards can cut the line and receive a limited-edition VHS case for Deadpool 2, as well as a digital download code so they can actually watch the movie. Customers without a card, meanwhile, can -- in a nod to the film -- impress the cashiers with whatever superpowers they may or may not have and receive a Superhero Edition membership card and their own copy of the movie.

The store is planning to give away 1,989 copies total, to commemorate the year when the first Blockbuster Video opened in London.

2018 has been quite the year for the nearly defunct video rental franchise. After the highly-publicized donation of Russell Crowe's Cinderella Man jockstrap to the Anchorage store by late-night host John Oliver, it was announced in July that the last two Blockbusters in Alaska would be closing their doors, leaving only the Bend, Oregon Blockbuster to carry on the famed rental chain’s legacy. Last month, that store received its own commemorative beer in celebration of its distinction.
