The Naruto franchise swaps Soul Reapers for ninja, cunning, and crafty agents who set traps and deceive the enemy into claiming victory. Some ninja relies on illusions, while others use powerful ninjutsu or good old-fashioned taijutsu, or martial arts. Ichigo is ready to challenge them all, and there is ten particular ninja he could definitely defeat in a proper duel.
10 Kiba Inuzuka, The Canine Warrior
After a point, many Naruto fans began to see Kiba Inuzuka as a token taijutsu fighter at best, realizing that his scant glory days are far behind him. Still, he's not totally helpless. Kiba can use beast mimicry to fight like a ferocious dog, and his canine friend Akamaru is always by his side.
Kiba can perform the Fang over Fang technique and sense his opponents from afar with his chakra-enhanced nose. However, melee characters like Kiba are fighting Ichigo on Ichigo's own terms, which spells certain defeat.
9 Rock Lee, The Taijutsu Specialist
In theory, Rock Lee, the martial artist, might have the strength to take down Ichigo, especially with his inner gates. The issue is that for all of Rock Lee's speed, Ichigo is even faster, even if he doesn't don his Hollow mask.
Rock Lee can survive for a minute or two against Ichigo if he removes his leg weights, but Ichigo's black blade will either stab Rock Lee's heart or take his head off before the inner gates can enter the picture. Rock Lee can handle punches, but not blades.
8 Jirobo, The Brawny Sound Ninja
Ichigo would have an easy time against the melee-oriented characters of Naruto since these ninja does not make heavy use of illusions or unique jutsu that may trip up Ichigo. Jirobo of the Sound Four is another melee specialist who stands no chance.
Jirobo once fought Choji Akamichi, showing off his curse seal's true power and wielding earth-shuddering strength against his opponent. Ichigo can easily outmaneuver Jirobo, curse seal or not.
7 Zabuza Momochi, The Mist Assassin
Zabuza Momochi is a swordsman, just like Ichigo, and his sword is famously large—and quick for its size. Zabuza doesn't often engage in sword duels, though. As a ninja, he would rather enshroud the battlefield with a mist jutsu than move in unseen.
Ichigo can't clear the fog easily, but he won't have to. His instincts and speed will see him through the worst of Zabuza's assassination moves and block Zabuza's sword halfway to the target. If the battle turns into a sword duel, Ichigo will press his advantage and win.
6 Sasori Of The Red Sand
Sasori of the Red Sand may not be a taijutsu specialist, but since he doesn't use illusions or forbidden jutsu in battle, Ichigo can handle him. Sasori is the Akatsuki organization's puppetmaster, using long chakra threads to control nearly 300 wooden pullets in battle, including the body of a former Kazekage.
These combined puppets can overwhelm most foes with their combined weapons, but Sasori isn't ready for the power of Ichigo's bankai and Hollow mask. Ichigo will slash his way right through Sasori's puppet army, then vaporize Sasori himself with a black Getsuga Tensho.
5 Sakura Haruno, The Medical Ninja
Sakura Haruno had come a long way since her early days when she envied the slick jutsu and teamwork of Naruto and Sasuke. She is a melee specialist and a healer, meaning she can outlast many foes in hand-to-hand combat. She also has highly advanced chakra control.
Sakura can blast a crater into the ground with the strength of her punches, but that won't matter against the vastly superior speed of Ichigo's bankai mode. Worse yet, Sakura's healing jutsu will be far too late to help her defeat him.
4 Hinata Hyuga, The All-Seeing Ninja
Against many other ninja, the Byakugan is highly effective, as it can see in a 360-degree area around the user and see their chakra points. With these eyes, combined with chakra-enhanced taijutsu blows, Hinata can pulverize the opponent's organs without even breaking their skin.
However, seeing an opponent's moves is not the same as having sufficient speed to react to them. Hinata can see Ichigo approaching from any direction, but her taijutsu lacks the speed to challenge Ichigo's Hollow mask and bankai.
3 Sai, The Illustrator Ninja
Sai, a member of the Root organization, took Sasuke Uchiha's place in Team 7 early Naruto Shippuden. Instead of a Sharingan eye and fireball jutsu, Sai can draw on scrolls with ink and brushes and create 3-D animals that serve his will. He's a summoner of sorts, without even using kuchiyose summoning proper.
Sai is a tricky and flexible opponent, but none of his ink animals can stand up to Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho, and Sai is a bit awkward as a duelist anyway. He'll be helpless as Ichigo gets in close with a flash step and defeat him.
2 Ino Yamanaka, The Pride Of Her Clan
Ino Yamanaka is a remarkable kunoichi, boasting many talents that make her an effective teammate and support ninja. She can perform her clan's trademark mind transfer jutsu, and she can also sense other people's chakra and even probe their minds. She has some healing abilities, too.
Ino is not to be underestimated, but alas, her taijutsu abilities are a far cry from Ichigo's own. If Ino could possess Ichigo's mind, she could gain the upper hand, but Ichigo's speed will keep him safe from Ino's jutsu.
1 Temari, The Master Of Wind
The Land of Wind produces some of the world's most talented wind jutsu users, and Temari, the big sister of Gaara of the Sand, is at the top of her game. She has a sharp and flexible mind to match her powerful wind-based jutsu, and she can slice her foes to pieces from afar. Temari's moves are exact, too.
Ichigo would definitely have to take Temari seriously and don his mask to gain enough speed to avoid Temari's many wind blades. A black Getsuga Tensho can blast away the wind blades, and then a direct melee attack up close will finish the duel.
