Bleach depicts the journey of Ichigo Kurosaki a Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow hybrid who has to continuously get stronger in order to fulfill his one true wish, to be able to protect the people he cares about. With his ever-increasing powers and abilities, Ichigo is somewhat different from your usual shonen protagonist, which makes Bleach particularly interesting. Along with Ichigo, here are 5 heroes and 5 villains from Bleach, ranked according to their powers.

10 HERO: ORIHIME INOU

Orihime is a long-time friend of Ichigo and the current mother of his son, Kazui Kurosaki. Orihime is a regular human who developed special abilities in the form of Shun Shun Rikka. This power grants Orihime a couple of abilities that change depending on how she casts Shun Shun Rika.

Orihime's most powerful move allows her to "reject" physical phenomena which is often used to heal her injured allies. This ability rejects the phenomena, thus forcing the injuries to revert back to a time when they did not exist. It proved a useful ability throughout the series.

9 VILLAIN: LILYNETTE GINGERBUCK

Lillynette is the other half of Coyote Starrk's soul. She often takes the form of twin pistols that Starrk uses in battle, but she can also take on a human and a wolf form. Lillynette, while not as strong as Coyote, is capable of comfortably handling herself without needing much assistance from Starrk.

Lillynette is capable of dealing significant damage through her Cero, and her Arrancar body has been shown to have quite a high level of durability, as seen when she survived several hits back in the battle for fake Karakura Town.

8 VILLAIN: WONDERWEISS MARGELA

Wonderweiss was an Arrancar that underwent special modification as per Aizen's convoluted plan. Wonderweiss was created with the expressed purpose of rendering Yamamoto's Zanpakuto useless, as Aizen knew he couldn't allow Yamamoto to freely use his abilities.

Wonderweiss also benefits from the increase in destructive capability, due to his ability to use the Cero. Additionally, Wonderweiss also has an incredible regenerative factor which makes him difficult to kill.

7 HERO: URYUU ISHIDA

Uryuu is a Quicy wrrior and one of Ichigo's dearest friends. Throughout the series, Uryuu regularly accompanies Ichigo on his otherworld journeys, where he provides help using his deadly Quincy techniques. Quincy's are capable of destroying a hollows soul and this often leads to trouble within the Soul Society, who prefer to purify hollows.

Uryuu is often the lens through which the audience learns more about the Quincy history. For much of the series, Uryuu is one of the strongest Quincy seen, though, admittedly, his abilities were eclipsed by several of Yhwach's personal guards in the Final War Arc.

6 HERO: ISSHIN KUROSAKI

Ishigo's dad in Bleach

Isshin Kurosaki is a former Soul Reaper, the father of Ichigo Kurosaki and the husband to Masaki Kurosaki. Isshin was once a powerful shinigami who captained the 10th division with great pride and efficiency.

Isshin tends to be quite laid back in his life as a human but, during his days as a soul reaper, he was a much more fearsome individual. Isshin's Zanpakuto, Engetsu, is a fire type believed to hold incredible burning and destructive power.

5 VILLAIN: ULQUIORRA CIFER

Bleach Ulquiorra 1

Ulquiorra was a human who died due to emptiness. Eventually, he turned into a hollow and, after wondering around for a while, he deserved to join Aizen's army as one of his Espada. Ulquiorra was exceptionally gifted in fighting but struggled to understand human emotions, despite being a highly intelligent being.

His lack of understanding of the human heart proved to be his ultimate downfall. Ulquiorra assumed the strongest fighter would always win but Ichigo used the love for his friends to propel him to new heights, allowing him to defeat Ulquiorra.

4 VILLAIN: COYOTE STRARRK

Coyote Starrk was the 1st Espada in Aizen's army owing to his incredible strength. As a human Starrk died due to extreme loneliness and when his spirit manifested as a hollow this incredibly loneliness gave birth to a Vasto Lorde type hollow.

As this class of hollow Starrk possed immense levels of Spiritual pressure and he used this immense amount of power to split his soul in two, creating his other half, Lilynette GingerBuck. Together the two are an incredible force capable of gunning down most of their would-be enemies.

3 HERO: KISUKE URAHARA

Kisuke Urahara is easily one of the smartest characters in Bleach, ith his knowledge he carved out an essential role in the Soul Society's survival and innovations. After leaving the Soul Society Urahara became a shop ownerr but even during those years he managed to cleverly manipulate the outcome of certain events.

Urahara played a crucial role in Ichigo's development meaning that he was a fundamental part of moving the plot forward. Urahara is a Kido master, an expert swordsman and his Zanpakuto Benihime is one of the strongest Zanpakuto's around.

2 VILLAIN: SOSUKE AIZEN

Sosuke Aizen in Bleach.

Sosuke Aizen is a criminal mastermind that played a vital role throughout Bleach's entire plot. Aizen was revealed to be the reason behind most of Ichigo's battles, he carefully placed different obstacles for Ichigo to overcome so that he could one day fight against at his strongest and overcome him.

Aizen intended that to be the crowning moment of his elaborate plan to ascend to Godhood but he failed. Despite this failure, Aizen has consistently shone himself to be one of the strongest characters in Bleach and without him, Ichigo would not have been able to defeat Yhwach.

1 HERO: ICHIGO KUROSAKI

Ichigo Kurosaki is the protagonist of Bleach, he is a naturally gifted combatant who fights mainly using Brute force. Ichigo's high levels of spiritual pressure mean this fighting style is suited for him as him as he is able to condense this immense level of spiritual pressure through his Getsuga Tensho sword slash.

Ichigo's immense fighting spirit and desire to save his friends made it possible for him to overcome most of the obstacles in his way and by the end of Bleach, it is clear that he is one of the series strongest characters.
